1. Purpose
These specific conditions govern bookings and use of the HYPE SWISS Center: private meetings, entrepreneur events, networking, training sessions, workshops, afterworks, business breakfasts, lunches, presentations, association gatherings, launches, space bookings and associated services.
They supplement the general GTC of HYPE SWISS. In the event of any conflict, they prevail for matters relating to the HYPE SWISS Center.
2. Positioning
The HYPE SWISS Center is a professional venue located in the heart of Geneva, in the immediate vicinity of Cornavin station, with parking and TPG public transport nearby. It is designed for hosting, presenting, connecting and converting, with two complementary spaces: a premium private space and a modular global space.
3. Space 1 - hype SWISS Lodge
The hype SWISS Lodge is a fully private space of approximately 20 m², with exclusive access, intended for confidential meetings, client appointments, short training sessions, targeted presentations and working sessions.
Indicative capacity: up to 8 persons.
Equipment: conference table, high-speed Internet, 55" Smart TV, videoconferencing, projection.
Access: from 9:00 to 18:00 subject to availability.
Rates:
- per hour: CHF 80.- per hour, private access;
- half-day: CHF 280.- for 4 hours, private access;
- full day: CHF 580.- for 8 hours, private access;
- additional hour: CHF 70.-, available as an option for half-day and full-day bookings.
Included depending on the package: Wi-Fi, full AV equipment, one hot drink per person and unlimited water from the half-day booking, unlimited hot drinks for a full day depending on the offer.
4. Space 2 - HYPE SWISS Center Global
The HYPE SWISS Center Global is a modular space accommodating up to 70 persons. It is intended for groups, business networks, companies, associations, clubs, training sessions, conferences, networking events, afterworks, member gatherings, workshops and presentations.
Equipment: high-speed Internet, 98" Smart TV, videoconferencing, wireless microphone, sound system, modular space.
Professional time slots:
- Morning 6:30 - 8:30: business breakfast;
- Lunch 12:00 - 14:00: business lunch;
- Afterwork 18:30 - 20:30: evening networking.
Minimum required: 15 persons. Below 15 participants, the flat rate for 15 participants is applied automatically.
Global rates:
- Breakfast 6:30 - 8:30: CHF 27.- / person for 15 to 20 persons; CHF 25.- / person for 21 to 70 persons; minimum billable CHF 405.-.
- Lunch 12:00 - 14:00: CHF 45.- / person for 15 to 20 persons; CHF 42.- / person for 21 to 70 persons; minimum billable CHF 675.-.
- Afterwork 18:30 - 20:30: CHF 39.- / person for 15 to 20 persons; CHF 35.- / person for 21 to 70 persons; minimum billable CHF 585.-.
Included depending on time slot:
- Breakfast: croissants, pastries, cold meats, cheese, butter, jam, fruit, unlimited hot drinks until 8:00, still or sparkling water unlimited, 98" Smart TV, wireless microphone, sound system.
- Lunch: Easy lunch caterer, finger food, tapas, salad or hot dish, dessert or seasonal fruit, hot drinks until 13:30, still or sparkling water unlimited, 98" Smart TV, wireless microphone, sound system.
- Afterwork: Easy lunch caterer, finger food, tapas, dessert or seasonal fruit, hot drinks until 20:00, still or sparkling water unlimited, 98" Smart TV, wireless microphone, sound system.
5. Booking and confirmation
Any booking must specify: Customer name, company or organisation, date, time slot, space, number of participants, format, technical requirements, dietary requirements, billing details and the person responsible on site.
The booking becomes firm after written confirmation from HYPE SWISS and payment or acceptance of the invoicing conditions. HYPE SWISS may refuse a booking that is incompatible with the space, safety, regulations, availability or the image of the venue.
6. Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due at the time of booking or before the event. HYPE SWISS may request a deposit, full payment or a guarantee. Consumption, additional participants, extra hours, technical services, special requests or damage may be invoiced additionally.
7. Change in number of participants
The final number of participants must be confirmed by the deadline indicated by HYPE SWISS. If the actual number is below the minimum billable amount or the guaranteed number, the minimum or guaranteed number remains payable. If the actual number is higher, HYPE SWISS may invoice the additional participants at the applicable rate, subject to capacity and safety.
8. Cancellation, rescheduling and no-show
Unless specific written conditions apply:
- any cancellation must be communicated in writing;
- costs already incurred, including in particular catering, suppliers, staff, preparation, logistics or special orders, remain payable;
- for the Lodge, cancellation more than 72 hours in advance: refund or credit note possible less committed costs; between 72 hours and 24 hours: 50 % of the amount may remain payable; less than 24 hours or no-show: 100 % of the amount may remain payable;
- for the Global space, cancellation more than 14 days in advance: refund or credit note possible less committed costs; between 14 and 7 days: 50 % of the amount may remain payable; less than 7 days or no-show: 100 % of the amount may remain payable;
- rescheduling is subject to availability and may give rise to charges.
9. Use of the premises
The Customer must use the spaces in accordance with their intended purpose, comply with the timetables, respect the neighbourhood, staff, instructions, safety rules, capacities and applicable legislation. The Customer is responsible for their participants, guests, speakers, suppliers and the content presented.
Smoking is prohibited indoors. Damaging the premises, blocking exits, modifying installations without agreement, using dangerous equipment, distributing unlawful, discriminatory or violent content or content contrary to public order, or organising an event without the necessary authorisations are all prohibited.
10. Equipment and support
The included equipment is made available subject to availability and normal operation. The Customer must communicate their technical requirements in advance. HYPE SWISS is not liable for incompatibilities related to the Customer's devices, software, files, adapters, accounts, platforms or connections.
Any damage, loss, theft, breakage, exceptional cleaning or intervention caused by the Customer, their guests or suppliers may be invoiced.
11. Catering and allergens
Food services are provided in accordance with the booked package and seasonal availability. The Customer must inform HYPE SWISS in advance of any allergies, dietary restrictions or special requirements. HYPE SWISS will make reasonable efforts but cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergen traces.
12. Public events, ticketing and authorisations
Where the Customer organises an event that is open to the public, paid, sponsored, filmed, broadcast, subject to authorisation, music, ticketing, copyright, insurance or particular obligations, the Customer is responsible for all the necessary steps, authorisations, taxes, rights, declarations and insurance, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13. Image, photographs and communications
The Customer may communicate about their event provided they do not give the impression that HYPE SWISS is the organiser, sponsor or guarantor without written agreement. The use of the HYPE SWISS logo, brand or visuals requires written authorisation.
HYPE SWISS may photograph or film the spaces for communication purposes, in compliance with image rights and with the necessary authorisations where individuals are identifiable.
14. Insurance and liability
The Customer is liable for damage caused by them, their guests, participants, suppliers or content. They must hold the necessary insurance, including in particular civil liability, event or professional insurance depending on the nature of the event.
Within the limits of applicable law, HYPE SWISS is not liable for losses, thefts, damage to personal belongings, delays, cancellations due to third parties, transport problems, non-negligent technical unavailability or force majeure events.
15. End of event
The Customer must vacate the premises at the scheduled time and return the space in a satisfactory condition. Any overrun, exceptional cleaning, tidying, repair or reinstatement may be invoiced.
16. Personal data
Data collected for the booking and the event is processed in accordance with the HYPE SWISS Privacy Policy.
17. Applicable law
These Center conditions are subject to Swiss law, subject to applicable mandatory rules. The competent courts of the Canton of Geneva shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory jurisdiction rules.
